Lead community initiatives with the National Council of Canadian Muslims (NCCM) as the Regional Lead in Edmonton. This full time position emphasizes relationship-building and community support for advocacy work.

In this role, you will work closely with masajid, volunteers, and organizational partners. Your primary focus will be to enhance NCCM’s community presence and ensure effective communication of its mission. Expect to engage in outreach, training, and participation in events throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage outreach and community relationship-building efforts
• Engage with volunteers and train them for various activities
• Attend and represent NCCM at community functions
• Organize quarterly community events and campaigns




• Maintain comprehensive records of community engagement

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree and 1-2 years of community experience
• Proven communication and relationship management skills
• Experience in outreach and volunteer coordination is a plus
• Ability to work in community settings effectively
• Access to a vehicle for community visits
