Be a key player in the Rowing Program at Shawnigan Lake School as a Rowing Coach and Facilities Manager. This role focuses on safety, equipment management, and athlete development.

As a permanent, full-time employee, you will directly contribute to the training and growth of student-athletes while maintaining high standards for all rowing facilities. Responsibilities include equipment upkeep, coaching sessions, regatta preparation, and summer camps, ensuring a dynamic environment for all participants. Your expertise in safety and rowing logistics will be essential in this rewarding position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure operational readiness of all rowing gear
• Coach during physical education and sport sessions




• Verify safety regulations and conduct inspections
• Manage regatta preparations and logistics
• Supervise summer rowing camps and activities

Requirements:
• RCA Coaching certification or equivalent
• Valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC)
• Class 5 driver’s license with trailer endorsement
• Knowledge in boat repair and maintenance
• Robust communication and interpersonal skills
