GIP is hiring a Field Service Heavy Duty Mechanic for projects throughout Greater Vancouver. This Delta-based role is a full time opportunity focused on maintaining specialized drilling machinery.

As an integral part of GIP’s team, you’ll leverage your skills in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems to support on-site repairs from Monday to Friday. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations for major infrastructure projects, making every day impactful with our specialized equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute preventive maintenance on heavy foundation equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Perform emergency repairs to minimize project delays




• Collaborate with project teams for effective equipment management
• Keep accurate service and inventory records

Requirements:
• Preferred Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician
• At least 3 years of relevant repair experience
• Knowledge of BAUER & Klemn equipment is advantageous
• Exceptional troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Clean driving abstract and valid driver’s license
