As a Machine Builder, you will craft and assemble equipment like conveyors, lifts, and carts according to precise mechanical drawings. Collaborate closely with your team, the Lead Machine Builder, and engineers to ensure high-quality standards are met. Your mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate will facilitate seamless operations in our fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints for complex equipment assembly
• Build and troubleshoot assemblies to ensure proper functionality
• Operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Communicate progress with the assembly team and lead builder
• Travel to customer sites for installations and service of products
Requirements:
• 2+ years in custom machinery building preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent necessary
• Expertise in machinery tools and equipment assembly
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required
• Willingness to travel up to 30% annually for installations
