As part of the Utilities & Power Operations team, you'll engage in demanding hands-on work focusing on telemetry system installation, programming, and commissioning. Your expertise will ensure effective communication, data collection, and minimal disruption during incidents. Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and troubleshoot electrical and controls systems • Program Remote Terminal Units and electronic devices • Respond quickly to telemetry incidents and outages • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment • Participate in rotating on-call duties across Ontario
Requirements: • College degree in Controls, Electrical Technology, or related field • 5+ years of relevant experience in telemetry and controls • Strong skills in diagnostics and electrical drawings • Knowledge of Remote Terminal Units, PLCs, and Electronic Recording Devices • Ability to determine control system philosophies
