What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk, and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Responsibilities




Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity
Check identification and control access to secure areas
React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
Handle alarms and conduct in office checks
Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents

Qualifications
Authorized to work in Canada
Valid security license
Full G Ontario driver's license and clean driver’s abstract
1 year of security industry experience and/or equivalent education background; police foundation or security related background preferred
First aid certification required
Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
