Job Summary: General Machinist/Tool and Die Associate assists all production areas in repairing and rebuilding machine break downs and building new assemblies. General Machinist/Tool and Die Associate maintains a Kanban for forging area, reface tooling and dies for the forging process. Reports to: Tool & Die Team Leader Qualifications:
Recent graduate of a Tool and Die Apprenticeship Program or Certificate of Qualification in Tool and Die
Strong mechanical skills
Strong ability to troubleshoot
Able to read and interpret blueprints
Knowledge of AutoCAD/computer aided design
Proactive in safety issues and able to follow through task to completion safely Musashi Expectations: Company Standards:

Interact with all Musashi working peers in a respectful and pleasant manner. Job Responsibilities:
Operate all equipment in Tool & Die area
Computer knowledge
Troubleshoot
Blueprint reading
Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments
Perform related duties as required
Attend annual health and safety training including (but not limited to) WHMIS, and Lockout Tagout. Personal Skills:

Excellent organizational and time management skills in completing tasks and troubleshooting
Strong attention to details
Flexible & adaptable in a complex & changing work setting, while meeting deadlines
Self-motivated, works well alone or as a team
