Become a Youth Outreach Worker with Pacific Community Resources Society to support at-risk youth across Surrey, BC. Your work will involve engaging with individuals in need and connecting them to resources and services.

In this full time role, you'll be part of the Inter-Regional At-Risk Youth Link program, providing outreach services at multiple SkyTrain hubs. The position requires a good understanding of the challenges faced by at-risk youth and the ability to build relationships in community settings. Experience in youth support and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
• Connect with youth through targeted street outreach
• Offer access to pro-social activities and community resources




• Distribute supplies such as hygiene products and harm reduction items
• Educate on substance use and provide naloxone training
• Engage with community stakeholders and present program details

Requirements:
• 2-year Diploma in Child and Youth Care or similar
• Minimum 2 years working with at-risk youth
• Experience with diverse youth backgrounds preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
