Lead Vancouver Coastal Health's Infection Prevention and Control initiatives as a Manager. This role emphasizes IPAC leadership, quality improvement, and strategic planning across acute and long-term care settings.

As a Manager, Infection Prevention and Control at VCH, you'll oversee operational processes within the regional IPAC program. Your leadership will enhance patient safety and optimize infection control strategies while coordinating with healthcare teams and external stakeholders. Engage in developing and executing IPAC initiatives designed to reduce healthcare-acquired infections and maintain high standards in infection control protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the IPAC program for multiple health sites
• Develop policies and education on infection control




• Coordinate surveillance and outbreak readiness efforts
• Manage resources and set operational priorities
• Foster relationships with clinical and external stakeholders

Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences
• Five years of related Infection Control experience
• Completion of IPAC-Canada approved course
• Current CBIC Certification or pursue within two years
• Active membership with a qualified association
