Become a crucial part of Enviros as a Youth and Family Support Practitioner in the Passages Program, focusing on enriching the lives of at-risk youth. This full time permanent position promotes a compassionate and supportive atmosphere.
As a practitioner, your primary responsibility will involve managing complex youth cases, using a trauma-informed and culturally sensitive approach. You will work collaboratively to provide care, build trust, and guide youth towards a better future. Your role ensures that all policies, health protocols, and safety measures are followed meticulously.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day care and support for youth
• Foster healthy relationships through trust and communication
• Maintain cleanliness and safety within the home
• Collaborate actively with coworkers and case professionals
• Keep detailed records of youth interactions and progress
Requirements:
• Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in Human Services
• Experience in group care and trauma-informed practices
• Current First Aid and CPR C certification
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license required
• Clear criminal and intervention records check
