Join the City of Cambridge as an Environmental Wastewater Systems Technician. This position focuses on optimizing wastewater systems and requires a technical background.

You will work within the Environmental Services Division, supporting the Supervisor of Wastewater. Key tasks include overseeing pump station operations, managing contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You'll also play a vital role in training staff on technical equipment and creating standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support daily operations and maintenance of wastewater systems
• Manage pump station projects from construction to maintenance
• Assess staff operations for conformance to procedures




• Develop SOPs and maintain accurate records
• Conduct SCADA data reviews and reporting

Requirements:
• 3-year College Diploma related to environmental studies
• Level I licenses for Water or Wastewater as per MOECC
• Certified Engineering Technologist (CET) from OACETT
• 2-3 years in municipal drinking water and wastewater
• Proficiency with GIS and SCADA technologies
