In this role, you will be responsible for the financial health of Friday Harbour, overseeing all accounting operations while maintaining strategic partnerships with the Executive Management team. Achieve operational excellence while ensuring compliance with financial regulations and optimizing the use of technology in financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct financial management for resort and association
• Handle accounts payable and payroll functions
• Lead a team of seven, guiding performance outcomes
• Develop and enforce internal controls for accuracy
• Organize comprehensive budgets with FP&A; collaboration
Requirements:
• Valid accounting designation (CA/CPA/CMA/CGA)
• Proven experience in hospitality finance
• Familiarity with multi-unit operations
• Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power BI
• Detail-oriented with solid verbal and written skills
