Join TVO's mission as a Digital Media Producer I to create educational content from Toronto, ON. This role involves developing engaging shows that tackle misinformation head-on.

In this 12-month contract, you will be integral in producing segments for the Big [If True] show, focusing on critical issues regarding deception and misinformation. Your responsibilities will include pitching story ideas, conducting interviews, and ensuring the highest quality of content through thorough fact-checking and research.

Key Responsibilities:
• Produce, pitch, and write educational content
• Direct studio and field interviews effectively
• Collaborate with teams to optimize production flow
• Fact-check scripts and verify sources thoroughly




• Design visually engaging reports in collaboration with editors

Requirements:
• Experience in a production environment, especially as a Chase Producer
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledgeable about misinformation and disinformation tactics
• Ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines
• Familiarity with research and production digital tools
