Join Aecon as a Procurement Engineer focused on nuclear projects in Darlington, Ontario. You’ll leverage your expertise in vendor selection and specifications to support critical energy initiatives.

In this role, you will report to the Engineering Manager and support proposals and project execution for the Darlington New Nuclear Project. Your responsibilities include selecting engineered equipment, evaluating vendor bids, and preparing technical specifications. Your specialized engineering knowledge will be critical in ensuring compliance with nuclear standards and meeting customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain design data and review customer specifications
• Prepare equipment specifications for contract execution




• Collaborate with vendors and engineering teams
• Review vendor drawings for compliance
• Evaluate vendor quotations and recommend selections

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Qualified Engineering (P.Eng.) designation
• Minimum 5 years of related experience
• Knowledge of Nuclear Codes and Standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
