Become an integral part of the brine processing team as a Sample Prep Technician in a full time position located 55 km southeast of Regina, Saskatchewan. Operating on a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, you will manage critical aspects of sample collection and equipment maintenance.
In this role, you will oversee the operation of solution mining systems while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Your work will include monitoring process conditions, performing sample analysis, and identifying operational anomalies. Ideal candidates will have experience with brine systems or related industrial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and record flow rates, temperatures, and pressures
• Collect and analyze brine samples with precision
• Ensure safe offloading of salt into storage silos
• Support equipment isolation during maintenance
• Drive to pick up supplies when necessary
Requirements:
• High school diploma (Grade 12) required
• Class 5 Driver’s License mandatory
• Experience in process testing or trades is an asset
• Mechanical aptitude and safety orientation
• Training in SCOT and other safety measures
