In this role, you will work under the Manager of Policy Planning, assisting with the preparation of secondary plans and long-range growth studies. Your responsibilities will include evaluating development applications and advising stakeholders on planning issues, which are vital for achieving community objectives. Representing the City during Ontario Land Tribunal hearings will also be part of your duties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in policy planning and specialized land use studies
• Process and evaluate development applications across land uses




• Prepare reports and recommendations for planning committees
• Provide advice on planning matters to various entities
• Represent the City at Ontario Land Tribunal hearings

Requirements:
• 4-year degree in Planning, Geography, or related field
• Minimum 3 years’ municipal planning experience
• Candidate or full OPPI membership
• Proficient in municipal policies and regulations
• Solid oral and written communication skills
