HWN Energy Ltd. seeks a skilled Contract Operator with a focus on plant operations in Central Alberta. This role supports the Kaybob South facilities and works a rotating 8-6 schedule.

In this position, you will be integral to the daily operations of HWN Energy's gas plant and battery facilities. You’ll operate and monitor essential equipment, handle safety training compliance, and participate in maintenance activities to optimize production and ensure regulatory adherence. The role requires a positive communicator with hands-on experience in a gas production environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor gas plant and battery operations
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
• Troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment efficiently




• Conduct water quality sampling and optimize injection systems
• Assist in project supervision and training of new staff

Requirements:
• Possess a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• 2-3 years of relevant operation experience
• Educational background: General Educational Development (grade 12)
• 4th Class Power Engineer or relevant certification preferred
• Strong knowledge in H2S protocols and safety compliance
