We are seeking a Salesforce / CRM Solution Architect to lead an initial 2-month planning phase for org-health, licensing, storage, and archiving evaluation across a large-scale Salesforce estate. In this hybrid technical-financial role, you will analyze system usage, evaluate contract entitlements, compare archiving strategies, and translate technical findings into financially defensible savings for client finance leadership. Successful delivery in planning phase will convert this engagement into a 1-year contract with potential for long-term renewal.

Responsibilities

Conduct a comprehensive org-health assessment, auditing Apex/Flow inventory, schema complexity, sandbox sprawl, and license utilization.

Analyze Salesforce contract terms, license categories, storage pricing tiers, and entitlement limits to pinpoint cost savings.

Evaluate data archiving strategies (native, third-party, custom infrastructure) balancing cost, retrieval speeds, and retention/purge compliance.





Build business cases and defend financial recommendations directly to client finance teams in writing.

Requirements & Key Qualifications

Salesforce Commercial Literacy: Proven experience reviewing and arguing Salesforce contracts (license types, storage-based pricing, super messages, edition limits).

Org Health Auditing: Deep experience assessing complex Salesforce environments (object/field counts, automation inventory, sandbox governance).

Financial Modeling: Demonstrated ability to quantify technical findings into dollar values and defend them in writing to finance leadership.

Archiving Strategy: Solid grasp of data retention obligations, retrieval times, and custom vs. third‑party archiving trade‑offs.

Pluses / Assets: Experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Marketing Cloud contact models, Salesforce Shield/encryption, broker/agency portals with third‑party SSO, and large enterprise estates (~10,000+ users).
