As an Electrical Designer at Stantec, you will work closely with Senior Engineers to create optimally designed electrical systems for various transportation initiatives. Your role encompasses designing power distribution, lighting, and low voltage systems while ensuring safety and regulatory adherence in all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct strategic studies on public transit electrification
• Engage in the design of electrical substations
• Prepare lighting calculations and electrical drawings
• Perform field investigations and system inspections
• Coordinate designs across disciplines for optimal project delivery
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology
• C.E.T. or E.I.T. in Ontario
• Five years of experience in systems design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and ETAP software
