Now hiring a robot welding operator in Newmarket! Your work will contribute to the construction industry in Ontario! We are looking for someone who can work both day and afternoon shifts.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor robotic welding systems for steel fabrication.
Load, position, and secure steel components
Set up welding machines, fixtures, wire, gas, and welding parameters according to production requirements.
Verify robot programs and make basic parameter adjustments when required.
Perform basic troubleshooting of robotic welding equipment.
Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of welding equipment and work areas.
Use measuring tools and welding inspection equipment.
What you bring:
Previous experience operating robotic welding equipment is preferred.
Experience with steel welding and fabrication.
Ability to read and understand welding drawings and shop drawings.
Knowledge of MIG welding processes is an asset.
Basic understanding of welding parameters such as voltage, amperage, wire speed, and gas flow.
