The Council of the Haida Nation is looking for a passionate Farm Manager to oversee its community-oriented farm located in Tlaal/Tlell. Successful candidates will have more than two years of experience in farm management and will play a crucial role in educating and supervising a small team while enhancing ecological practices. This role highlights the importance of local food security and hands-on management.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute crop production schedules
• Oversee greenhouse management and monitoring
• Train and support seasonal workers or volunteers




• Develop relationships with local markets for produce sales
• Maintain compliance with food safety regulations

Requirements:
• 2+ years in market gardening or greenhouse management
• Experience managing crop health and soil quality
• Ability to adapt under changing weather conditions
• Reliable with valuable organizational skills
• Class 5 driver’s license needed
