Pursue meaningful work as a Tenant Support Worker at Lookout Housing and Health Society in Duncan, BC. Engage in empowering adults to achieve greater independence and stability through essential support services.
In this casual role, you will contribute to tenant assessments, develop service plans, and ensure compliance with health standards. Shifts are available across various times, promoting flexibility to meet the diverse needs of the clientele. Completion of fit testing for respirators is required to ensure staff comply with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients through intakes and service assessments
• Create individualized service and crisis intervention plans
• Document and maintain necessary records and data
• Oversee volunteers and students assisting in office
• Stay alert and attentive throughout working hours
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service
• At least two years of related experience or equivalent
• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate mandatory
• Criminal Record Clearance for vulnerable adults
• Class 5 BC Driver's License if needed
Provide supportive services that encourage adult independence through teamwork and dedication as a Tenant Support Worker.
