As part of Stantec’s Energy and Resources team, this full-time position is perfect for Engineers dedicated to developing expertise in controls and instrumentation design. You will work on various projects across North America, including mining and energy sectors and gain experience leading and supporting complex designs. Mining experience is advantageous but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support design phases for multidisciplinary projects
• Develop I&C; construction drawing deliverables and specifications
• Create control architectures for PLC/DCS/HMI/SCADA systems
• Lead design of facility industrial networking
• Assist in project coordination and quality assurance
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
• 5–10 years of experience in heavy industry sectors
• Ability to obtain a Qualified Engineering license
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to travel approximately 10%
