Take a stand for community advocacy in a volunteer role with CAWI’s Board of Directors. Candidates passionate about social justice are encouraged to apply by August 14.

CAWI is seeking board members to set the tone for advocacy efforts and represent marginalized voices. Passion for gendered equality and municipal issues is essential. We welcome submissions from individuals who self-identify as women, non-binary, or Two-Spirit and have skills in governance, fundraising, and equity.

Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in monthly board meetings
• Assist in defining advocacy strategies
• Contribute to strategic planning efforts
• Work within sub-committees for targeted issues
• Advocate for the organization within the community

Requirements:
• Solid interest in social justice and equity
• Identify as cis or trans woman, non-binary, or two-spirit
• Relevant experience in governance or fundraising
• Commitment to equity-denied community issues
• Volunteer availability to serve with CAWI
