Join the City of Stratford's Infrastructure Services as a Water Treatment Operator. This permanent, full time position involves critical responsibilities in water supply and system monitoring.

This role reports to the Supervisor of Environmental Services where you will control and maintain water treatment and distribution systems. You'll perform water testing, troubleshoot issues, and handle emergency repairs, ensuring compliance with legislative standards. Your efforts will directly contribute to optimizing water quality and supply efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and repair water treatment and distribution systems
• Perform bacteriological and chemical water testing
• Maintain comprehensive logs and records of water systems




• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on facilities
• Respond to emergency repair requests

Requirements:
• Diploma in Environmental Technology or equivalent
• Preferred Class 1 Certification for water operations
• Water Meter Installer Certificate
• Class DZ Driver’s License required
• Willingness to be on call for emergencies
