Support livestock education at UFV as an Agriculture Relief Technician. This position involves facilitating course delivery, supporting instructors, and managing barn and lab facilities.

Located within the Agriculture department, the technician will prepare supplies for classes and assist during lectures and field trips throughout the Fall 2026 semester. Essential duties include maintaining the barn environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering teamwork. Candidates must be detail-oriented and effective communicators to succeed in this team-oriented role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare course materials and support during classes
• Maintain livestock feed and water systems
• Ensure equipment compliance with safety regulations




• Organize lab setups for experiments
• Provide updates in department meetings

Requirements:
• Agricultural diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum three years in relevant agriculture roles
• Must have BC Driver’s License and vehicle
• Licensed skidsteer and tractor operation
• WHMIS training and safety compliance required
