This role involves direct collaboration with the Occupational and Physiotherapy teams to implement effective patient care programs.

You will be responsible for creating a safe environment, preparing therapeutic equipment, and fostering residents’ daily living skills, helping them achieve greater independence. Your effective communication will be key in reporting on resident progress and ensuring their adaptive devices are effective.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with OT/PT to guide patient care
• Document and report resident progress to nursing teams




• Prepare necessary medical equipment and supports
• Ensure adaptive aids are protected for resident use
• Assist residents in developing daily skills

Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma in therapy assistance or equivalent
• Prior experience with geriatric and rehabilitation populations
• Familiarity with cognitive impairments preferred
