Join Our Place Society as a Sanitation and Maintenance Worker to ensure a clean and protected environment for all visitors. Your role focuses on sanitation, minor maintenance, and facility upkeep.

In this position, you will maintain cleanliness across various facilities while performing minor repair tasks as needed. Tasks include dusting, mopping, refuse management, and using appropriate cleaning chemicals with safety equipment. You will work within a team atmosphere, nurturing a compassionate relationship with residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct routine cleaning of common areas and washrooms
• Handle laundry duties and maintain cleanliness
• Clean parking lots and sidewalks as needed




• Assist in setting up furniture for events
• Log maintenance tasks and secure buildings when necessary

Requirements:
• Grade 10 certification and WHMIS knowledge
• At least six months of related experience
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Familiarity with using cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Physical capacity to lift weights up to 40 lbs
