The Rodeo Coach position involves leading both men's and women's teams while ensuring the personal and academic growth of student-athletes. Collaborating with the OC Ag Manager, you will implement training plans and coordinate fundraising activities, enhancing the rodeo program’s visibility and support in the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and lead practices and competitions
• Supervise adherence to the Athlete Code of Conduct
• Maintain an active recruiting plan for new talent
• Ensure equipment and facility upkeep
• Foster community relationships to promote the program
Requirements:
• Background in coaching rodeo athletes, minimum 3 years preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Knowledge of animal welfare standards required
• Strong teamwork and adaptability skills
• Availability for flexible hours and travel
