Become the Health Services Manager with Yuułuʔiłʔatḥ Government in Hitacu, BC. In this full time position, you will lead clinical approaches to community health, emphasizing holistic wellness and patient care.
In this managerial role, you will oversee a team focused on chronic disease management, immunization, and health promotion. Reporting directly to the Director, you will ensure that all health initiatives are culturally grounded and trauma-informed, thereby meeting community health goals. Collaboration with partners like FNHA and Island Health is essential to create comprehensive health solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Directly supervise community health nursing team
• Evaluate and enhance health programs and metrics
• Implement clinical governance and maintain service standards
• Coordinate patient travel and reduce access barriers
• Engage in health system advocacy and navigation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Health Administration, or equivalent
• At least 5 years in health services management
• Knowledge of First Nations healthcare landscape
• Experience in culturally informed service delivery
• Valid BC Driver's License required
