Extendicare seeks a Registered Dietitian to deliver exceptional nutrition care and education to residents. This part time role prioritizes individualized assessment and ongoing dietary support.

In this position, you will assess and monitor the nutrition needs of residents, develop tailored care plans, and provide ongoing education to families and caregivers. Engage with a committed interdisciplinary team, ensuring that every resident receives high-quality nutrition tailored to their needs. Your role is central to promoting resident health.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and assess resident nutrition status post-admission
• Create and implement personalized dietary plans regularly
• Document care procedures and nutritional interventions




• Provide nutrition education to residents, families, and staff
• Attend interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss care

Requirements:
• Degree in Food and Nutrition from a recognized university
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care is an asset
• Registered member of the provincial college of Dietitians
• Excellent organizational and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and health care software
