Junior CNC Programmer – Stone and Countertop Fabrication Maple Terrazzo, Marble & Tile Inc. 16 Nixon Road, Bolton, Ontario Full-time, permanent
Company Overview Maple Terrazzo, Marble & Tile Inc. fabricates and installs natural stone, engineered quartz and terrazzo for residential and commercial projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Our Bolton facility operates CNC bridge saws and work centres, producing countertops, vanities and architectural stone components from raw slab through to finished installation.
Position Summary The Junior CNC Programmer supports the transition of approved drawings and digital templates into production-ready machine programs. The position works closely with the project coordination department, production scheduling and shop floor personnel to ensure programs are accurate, material is used efficiently, and jobs are released to the machines on schedule. This is an entry-level position with training provided on our equipment and software. Candidates must demonstrate competency in reading technical drawings and working with dimensional data.
Key Responsibilities Prepare and verify DXF files generated from digital templates and shop drawings
Develop, simulate and post CNC programs for bridge saw and work centre operations
Define tool paths for edge profiles, sink and cooktop cutouts, mitres and drainboards
Confirm slab and remnant availability prior to releasing programs to production
Coordinate with machine operators to resolve issues and issue program revisions
Maintain the program library,



tool tables and standard drawing templates
Qualifications Post-secondary certificate or diploma in CNC programming, CAD, machining or mechanical technology, or equivalent practical experience
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural drawings
Working knowledge of a CAD platform (DraftSight, AutoCAD or equivalent) and familiarity with DXF file formats
Prior CNC exposure in any material; stone fabrication experience is an asset rather than a requirement
Strong attention to dimensional accuracy and quality standards
Reliable transportation; the facility is not accessible by public transit
Legally entitled to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications Experience in a stone, quartz or solid surface fabrication setting
Familiarity with Breton, Intermac, Park or comparable CNC equipment
Experience with digital templating systems (Laser Products, Proliner)
Exposure to slab layout software such as Slabsmith
Proficiency in Excel or database applications
