Be part of the supportive team at AgeCare Shawnee as a Health Care Aide. This part time evening position focuses on delivering comprehensive personal care and support to residents in Calgary.

Working under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, your role will involve providing safe and attentive care, from transferring residents to assisting with meals. You’ll play a vital role in keeping residents comfortable, helping them with both daily living activities and social outings around the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide personal care including bathing and hygiene support
• Use appropriate equipment for resident transfers
• Assist with meals and ensure dietary guidelines are followed




• Implement routine treatments as directed by nursing staff
• Facilitate residents’ participation in recreational activities

Requirements:
• Experience in a health care setting is preferred
• Completion of a recognized Personal Care Aide Course
• Fluency in English for communication
• Registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses
• Post-secondary education preferred
