The Underwriting Specialist position requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience in insurance, including at least 2-3 years in national underwriting roles. You'll work directly with leadership and distribution partners to assess risk, manage portfolios, and identify new business opportunities in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee delegated authority contracts and their performance
• Identify opportunities for new business growth
• Evaluate coverage terms for compliance with guidelines




• Engage in stakeholder meetings to promote Sovereign’s values
• Lead underwriting audits to ensure accountability

Requirements:
• 10 years of insurance industry experience
• 2-3 years managing referrals and portfolio performance
• Experience in commercial property, casualty, or cyber preferred
• Bilingual (French/English) is a plus
• Proven relationship-building skills with partners
