A Snapshot of Your Day As a Senior Financial Analyst with a global manufacturer specializing in advanced electrical and energy transmission technologies, you will play a pivotal role in driving the Finance function within a manufacturing environment. Working independently and in close partnership with the Controlling team, sales, operations, and leadership, you will own high-visibility deliverables and lead process-improvement and automation initiatives that make the finance function faster, smarter, and more impactful.
Objectives of This Role Deliver comprehensive financial insights to senior management by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting financial data.
Guide financial decision-making by applying company policies and procedures to current economic and commercial conditions.
Design, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, dashboards, and reporting standards.
Meet budgeting and forecasting objectives through effective scheduling, analysis, and corrective action.
Lead automation and continuous improvement efforts across finance workflows.

Your Tasks Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range plans.
Design, build,
and maintain management dashboards and reporting packs that deliver clear performance insights to senior stakeholders.
Collaborate with the Controlling team to establish financial and operational benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on a biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
Play a significant role in the formulation of company budgets, ensuring expenses align with projected revenue.
Month-End Close & Controls Manage the month-end close process, including creating accruals, posting journal entries, and preparing balance sheet and P&L; working papers.
Ensure internal safeguards for revenue, costs, and both team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
Develop and enforce internal controls to optimize the protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
Assist in month-end close activities including accruals, reforecasting, and commentary preparation.
Process Improvement & Automation Identify and lead automation opportunities across finance workflows, including reporting, data extraction, and reconciliation tasks.
Extract, transform, and analyze data from SAP to support month-end closing, variance reporting, and ad hoc business requests.
Implement cost control measures and optimize financial processes to enhance overall efficiency and profitability.
Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as directed by the Head of Finance.
Commercial & Business Partnering Partner with sales and commercial teams to support pricing decisions, deal structuring, customer profitability analysis, and revenue forecasting.
Analyze manufacturing cost drivers, including material, labor, and overhead, and communicate findings clearly to non-finance audiences.
Build and maintain financial models to support business cases, capex requests, and strategic initiatives.
What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A;, budgeting, forecasting, or a similar analytical role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO modules preferred); ability to run queries and extract data independently.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in dashboard and BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Demonstrated knowledge of financial regulations, policies, and procedures.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and departments.
Part-qualified or fully qualified CPA is an advantage, though not required.
