GHD is expanding in Vancouver and is on the lookout for a Junior Environmental Engineer. This hybrid role includes assisting with environmental assessments and collaborating with clients and senior staff.
This position is perfect for an Environmental Engineer or Scientist eager to grow in the field of contaminated site remediation. Ideal candidates will have a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least three years of consulting experience. Your tasks will involve supporting project management, conducting assessments, and preparing reports while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with senior staff in project management processes
• Conduct field investigations and data compilation
• Prepare detailed environmental assessment reports
• Assist in developing viable remediation plans
• Participate in monitoring and sampling programs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering or Earth Sciences
• At least 3 years of consulting experience
• EIT or GIT designation in BC
• Familiarity with BC Contaminated Sites Regulation
• Proficient writing and communication skills
