As the Manager, you will report to the Vice President Academic and will be responsible for the overall stewardship of the CNC Research Forest. You will lead all applied research activities while ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, financial sustainability, and environmental stewardship. Engaging with First Nation partners and various stakeholders, you will create meaningful partnerships that benefit the organization's strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage CNC Research Forest operations and compliance
• Coordinate applied research in forestry and natural resources
• Ensure sustainable and effective financial practices
• Facilitate student engagement in the NRFT program
• Collaborate with the Board on strategic initiatives
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in forestry or resource management
• Proven ability to manage finances and budgets
• Robust focus on applied research methodologies
• Commitment to Indigenous collaboration and community engagement
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
