Equipment Operators - Civil Projects - 14/7 - Up to $45/hr - Barriere, BC Simpcw Resources Group is seeking experienced Equipment Operators for civil projects in Barriere, British Columbia. This project-term role involves operating a variety of heavy equipment across multiple project sites, supporting civil construction activities in all weather conditions. The ideal candidates are safety-focused, skilled with various equipment, and able to work a 14/7 rotation while contributing to both equipment operation and general site activities.

What You’ll Need Minimum 3 years of experience operating equipment in civil construction, earthworks, road construction, or related environment
Proven competency with skid steers, mini excavators, excavators, dozers, graders, wheel loaders, or similar heavy equipment
Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence with clean abstract (Class 1 or 3 an asset)
Ability to work a 14/7 rotational schedule with up to 12-hour shifts
Willingness and ability to travel to project locations (Hinton, Jasper, Valemount, Clearwater, Kamloops)
Experience with loading, unloading, securing, and transporting equipment/materials on flat deck trailers (asset)
WHMIS and CSTS certifications required; Ground Disturbance Level II an asset
Strong understanding of equipment maintenance and safe operating procedures
Physically capable of manual labour and lifting up to 50 lbs
Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to work independently
Willingness to assist with general labour and site support activities
Compliance with pre-site-access drug and/or alcohol testing if required
What Will Make You Stand Out Class 1 or Class 3 Driver’s Licence
Experience with ground disturbance and transporting equipment
Preference for Indigenous ancestry and/or residence in North Thompson Valley
