In this role, you will support the nursing team by providing personal care and nursing services to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities include monitoring residents’ conditions, administering prescribed medications, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee residents' daily living activities and personal hygiene
• Review shift reports and implement care plans
• Document changes in residents’ health accurately
• Train and guide non-registered nursing staff
• Participate in quality assurance and safety measures
Requirements:
• Valid Medication Administration Certificate
• Competency certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Experience with senior care is an advantage
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Computer proficiency, especially in Microsoft Office
