The candidate must inspect the vehicle’s condition, including the brakes, tires, lights, and other essential components. The candidate must be able to perform emergency roadside repairs. The candidate will be responsible for performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as overseeing all vehicle aspects. The candidate will be responsible for recording cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption. The candidate must handle and transport dangerous goods. The candidate should be fluent in the English language. The candidate must have a certificate of Secondary (high) school graduation. A candidate with experience is an asset. The employer will pay for the candidate’s learning and training.
