We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our dynamic team at our oat milling facility. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth flow of finished products throughout our operations, helping us maintain our commitment to quality and efficiency. Pay

$22.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

- Operating automated packing lines for various bagging products
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks and containers
- Unsing inventory management systems to prepare orders for shipment
- Conduct routine inventory audits
- Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, CFIA , ISO 22000 and other food safety regulations by following good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, policies and procedures of the company and regulatory agencies

Qualifications





- Forklift certification (2 years of experience)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience in packaging and warehouse operations is preferred
- Previous work in a food manufacturing operation is preferred
- Secondary school diploma or equivalency; post-secondary degree is an asset
- Lifting pallets and bags weighing 25 kg

Hours

- Full time position, 40 hours weekly
- Monday to Friday, rotating weekly day, evening and night shifts, 8-hour shifts
- Overtime may be required during peak periods
