Join Midland Transport as a Driver Training Specialist in Brampton, Ontario, and help shape the next generation of qualified drivers. This role focuses on assessment and performance evaluation, providing essential support to new hires.

You will ensure that all drivers meet our stringent safety and compliance requirements through comprehensive evaluations and hands-on training. By leading orientation sessions and offering continuous coaching, you will play a crucial role in developing skills and knowledge necessary for success in linehaul, P&D;, and courier operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate driver competency through road tests
• Lead new driver orientation and ensure policy compliance
• Conduct coaching sessions to enhance driving skills




• Partner with Talent Acquisition for recruitment efforts
• Administer drug testing according to regulations

Requirements:
• 5+ years as a professional driver, Class 1 preferred
• In-depth knowledge of transportation safety regulations
• Experience in training or coaching drivers preferred
• Strong observational and communication abilities
• Flexibility to travel between terminals as required
