This full time temporary position demands expertise in animal welfare science and aims to address core issues affecting animal care. You’ll work closely with various stakeholders to implement animal welfare frameworks and manage advocacy campaigns. Your insight will drive standards and practices suited to improving conditions across British Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement the Social Change Annual Plan
• Review and provide feedback on AnimalKind standards
• Liaise with industry representatives and organizations




• Support research collaborations with educational institutions
• Act as a subject matter expert in animal welfare

Requirements:
• Graduate-level degree in animal welfare-related fields
• At least eight years of relevant experience
• Proven project management and supervisory skills
• Strong understanding of animal welfare policies
• Effective communicator with diverse audiences
