As a Marine Automation Specialist, you will oversee engineering design and compliance within the Engineering Department. With your five-plus years of marine electrical engineering experience, you’ll produce and review specifications, manage automated systems, and maintain correspondence with various technical disciplines for optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design efforts for automated ship systems
• Support engineering solution testing and development
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices
• Liaise with contractors on design inputs
• Maintain and oversee weight records
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant area
• At least five years in marine electrical engineering
• Familiarity with classification regulations
• Shipyard experience beneficial
• Fluency in French and English required
