This part-time, temporary position reports to the Manager of Surgical Services, requiring a nurse with a comprehensive surgical background. You will be responsible for assessing and treating surgical patients while advocating healthy recovery. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for handling diverse patient needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and promote health in surgical patients
• Administer IV medications and carry out central line care
• Oversee management of epidural analgesia and P.C.A. pumps




• Educate patients about health and safety during recovery
• Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols

Requirements:
• Valid registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least two years of surgical experience in the last five years
• Completed Physical Assessment course
• Recent satisfactory attendance and performance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
