Lazy Bear Lodge/Expeditions is hiring a Mechanic to join our team in Churchill, Manitoba. We’re looking for someone who is hardworking, mechanically minded, and willing to learn. Pay is based on experience.

This is a hands-on job where every day is different. You’ll help keep our equipment running and assist with repairs, maintenance, and inspections. We work on a wide range of vehicles and equipment used in tourism and operations.

Equipment You May Work On
Loaders, dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment
Boats and marine equipment
Trucks, buses, and passenger vehicles
Other tourism and operational equipment

Responsibilities
Help mechanics with repairs and maintenance
Assist with diagnosing mechanical problems
Perform basic maintenance and preventative upkeep
Help keep the shop clean and organized
Assist with field repairs when needed




Support the team during the busy tourism season

Qualifications
Mechanical experience is preferred
Basic knowledge of tools and equipment
Willingness to learn and work independently
Solid work ethic and reliability
Welding experience is an asset, but not required
Experience with marine engines” specifically outboard motors" from 70 hp to 600 hp a real asset
