The Scaling & Quality Coordinator plays a crucial role within the woodlands team at the Atikokan Sawmill. Reporting to the Quality & Scaling Supervisor, you will be responsible for accurate log quality measurement and managing sampling programs. Effective communication and collaboration with suppliers and mill staff are essential for delivering consistent results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Report on log quality and delivery volumes
• Implement random quality sampling protocols
• Ensure compliance with scaling agreements
• Maintain measurement facilities and software
• Review and document load slips daily
Requirements:
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Desire to complete Ontario Scaling License
• Proficient in MS Office and robust detail orientation
• Experience in four-season outdoor settings
• Ability to travel and connect with team members
