The successful candidate will work closely with students and their families to implement a stimulating and inclusive educational program. With a focus on individual needs, you'll develop curriculum that respects cultural roots while adhering to BC educational standards. Collaboration with your peers will enhance student learning and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver curriculum based on BC educational standards
• Implement Individual Education Plans and monitor student progress
• Exercise classroom management and implement discipline strategies




• Engage in team teaching and assist in language and culture programs
• Attend staff meetings and collaborate on educational strategies

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education or equivalent experience
• Valid BC teaching certificate and current First Aid/CPR certification required
• Demonstrated experience teaching elementary grades
• Ability to work within split-grade classrooms
• Knowledge and competency in First Nations cultural teachings
