As a member of the Corrections Division, you will be responsible for delivering meals to residents while mentoring those in an apprenticeship program. You’ll need to demonstrate knowledge of food safety and the ability to adapt within a fast-paced environment, ensuring residents receive quality service during meal times.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute large-scale meal preparations
• Ensure compliance with health and sanitation protocols
• Mentor residents in food preparation skills
• Adapt to changing operational needs effectively
• Maintain a safe and organized kitchen setting
Requirements:
• Completion of a Red Seal Trades Certificate or relevant experience
• Minimum 3 years in a food service role
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Valid class 4 driver’s license
• Experience working within diverse populations
