Lead impactful initiatives in the mining sector with the Mining Industry Human Resources Council (MiHR) as the Manager of Early Talent Programs. Drive program implementation and enhance student experiences.
This full-time position, based in Kanata, Ontario, reports to the Director of Early Talent Initiatives. You will oversee the Mining Industry Experience Program (MiEX), coordinating stakeholder engagement and ensuring the successful delivery of immersive learning experiences. Your leadership will help transform perceptions of the mining industry among students while driving participation and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning and continuous improvement of national programs
• Establish strong relationships with partners and stakeholders
• Schedule and facilitate program meetings regularly
• Manage logistics, budgets, and quality assurance processes
• Collaborate on recruitment campaigns and promotional materials
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 3-5 years of managing complex programs or projects
• Robust engagement and relationship management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools
• Bilingualism in English and French is an asset
